May 16th : When the Mystery Unfolds

May 16, 2014: What is stored in the Mystery?
Every Indian is now curiously looking to this mysterious day, May 16, 2014 which is destined to write a different history in future. On this day when counting of votes will start, billions of Indians across the world will be hooked to their TV sets, mobile phones, laptops, tablet, computers to know about the future government of India. Speculators and market researchers are trying to predict the election results in their own way but as a scholar of astrology, I have attempted to decipher the scenario with my little knowledge of this field. Astrological predictions are very vague and difficult to interpret but I am trying to put my analysis in simple language as much as possible. 1. 16 May 2014, Delhi, Morning 8:00 am. When the Counting of votes will start at 8:00 am across different centers in India; Gemini Lagna will be rising with Guru situated in it. Lagnesha Mercury is located in 12th house with Sun in Taurus, Mars in 4th (Virgo), Shukra is 10th (Pisces), Moon in 6th (Scorpio), Saturn-Rahu in 5th (Libra) and Ketu in 11th (Aries). On this time, there will be Mahadasha of Budh-Ketu-ketu which will continue till Nov 30, 14.This Ketu antardasha will last till Nov 6, 2015 and the next antardasha, Budh-Shukra will start from Nov 6-2018. In Navamansha, Budh is located in Cancer and 8th house and there is moon in Dhanu navamansha. Surya-Shukra are in Capricorn, 2nd house and there is a four planets combination of Mangal, Guru, Shani and Rahu in the Taurus, sixth house.
Analysis: Chances are in favor of the government under control of either woman PM or Guru like aged PM with support of powerful women politicians in the country. Weak (Neech Rashi) moon in sixth house indicates Balarishta means risk of early death of this government. Women will be cause of sustaining or destroying this government or alliance. This alliance may fall even before Nov 15, 2015. Shani-Rahu combination in the fifth house indicates internal contradictions of different ideologies within the major party as well as alliance. For Mithuna lagna, Guru is a badhak planet because of Kendradhipatya dosha and Guru is with Mangal, Rahu and Shani in Sixth house of Navamansha that too in Adverse Navamansha of Shukra. It does not matter who will become of PM of which party or alliance but this government is not likely to survive longer. Shukra, lord of 12th hourse and Chandra in 6th house also suggest fall of this government because of women leaders. Even if this government enters in Shukra antardasha, I am not sure whether it may be able to survive till 2018 or not.
2. The Future of India as a Nation: India’s Independence kundali as on Aug 15, 1947, 12:00 am, Delhi has Taurus Lagna with Rahu in the Lagna and Ketu in 7th house (Scorpio). There is a combination of five planets Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Saturn in the third house (Cancer), Guru in 6th house (Libra) and Mangal is in 2nd (Gemini). India’s Navamansha is Meena with Sun located in it. In Navamansha, Shukra and Shani are in Makar Rashi (Capricorn) and Chandra is with Ketu in the sixth house (Leo). From 6 May, 2014, Surya-Ketu antardasha is beginning and from 13 May, Surya-Ketu-Shukra will continue till June 6, then there will be Sun Pratyantar. This dasha will continue till 12 Sep 2014 but Surya-Shukra dasha will start from 12 Sep, 14 to 12, Sep 15. From 12 Sep 2015, Chandra Mahadasha for next 10 years i.e. till 2025 will start which will be very significant as Chandra is located in own rashi (Cancer), third house which indicates courage, valor and neighbors.
Analysis: India’s Vimshottari dasha also gives clear indications of rise of women power in Indian politics. Hence, who so ever may be the head of the government but government will be run by either a single powerful woman or many “Power Puff Girls”. Next coming years will be significant for women politicians in the parliament. If woman PM will be heading the government then she could control things better in an alliance than a male PM supported by many women. Chandra is lord of Third house, situated in the own rashi,(Karka) but as a malefic by owning the third house, it may bring mixed results in its Mahadasha at different intervals but this is an indication of emergence of women leadership in future and only that will inclusive growth and strong democracy to our country. People are very curious to know whether Narendra Modi, Mayawati, Sushma Swaraj, Naveen Pattnayak, Jayalalitha, Mamta Banerjee or who XYZ will become PM in June 2014. I believe that becoming PM is an outcome depending upon many factors. Some people became PM just by chance not by their dream of being PM (e.g. H. D. Devegowda, P.V. Narsimha Rao, Indra Kumar Gujral and Manmohan Singh) and some people kept waiting their dream of “being PM” forever (e.g. Pranav Mukharjee, L. K. Advani). However, leadership research suggests that in case of alliance formation, authoritarian leaders cannot tolerate rise of another authoritarian leader above them and an authoritarian leader cannot be a successful leader in running an alliance. You need participative leader to lead an alliance. So, if an alliance government is formed then I see very less possibility of head of that government being an authoritarian leader like Narendra Modi, Mamta Banerjee, Mayawati and Jayalalitha. Under such circumstances, some “unknown” moderate leader will emerge suddenly who will lead the new government after June 2014. The Sun-Ketu Antardasha definitely indicates some unexpected political turnaround after May 6, 2014. Ketu is karaka of “uncertainty and turnarounds”, so it is difficult to predict anything specifically right now. This ketu dasha will prove all analysts and experts wrong when the results will come out of EVMs on May 16.

Thsoe who can they do, who can't, they teach. Those who neither can do nor teach, they become consultants and make others' life miserable by giving 'valuable advice on premium price'. Perhaps then, I may talk something sensible to my students and do some sense-making research.

Panwaadee ki Duniya

A New Beginning

Blogging is a new field for me.. I mean .. for a not so tech savvy person like me. I decided to name it as "Sense of Nonsense" because I belive that at times, sense lies somewhere very deep inside many nonsense things around us which are normally ignored by us.  Most of times, I failed to convince people around me and lost arguments. It could be possible either I am talking nonsense or they are unable to understand my sense. People used to call me a lost professor or crazy psychologist. Professors are infamous for saying things that are incomprehensible to others. In that way, it makes sense in naming it as "Sense of Nonsense".

I got this inspiration from my younger brother to whom I always attributed adjectives like "Toofaan" or "Unplanned creature on this earth", "Unpredictable" (Gaurav Ek Aise Toofaan Ka Naam Hai, Jiske Na Aane Ka pata hota hai aur na hi jaane ka).

This is just beginning. More nonsense yet to come. Tomorrow is April Fool's Day. What a coincidence.

In the name of all nonsenses.
